Admissions Criteria

Who are we looking for?
We expect intellectual curiosity coupled with a desire to learn and stretch yourself in a rigorous academic program, as well as personal qualities to contribute to the many activities of the program. If you feel you fulfill all the requirements below but have, as yet, no professional experience, we will also consider your application.

A Passion to Excel
You should have a passion to excel in whatever you do. You should have a pragmatic approach to life and business. A drive to make a difference, and the confidence to stand up for your principles, even if you stand-alone.

Strong Academics
You should hold an excellent undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification. In exceptional circumstances we may waive this requirement for otherwise outstanding candidates with substantial professional experience. Since the RBS program is designed to be intensive and rigorous, we look for a strong grasp of analytical and quantitative skills.

Work experience
The RBS program is focussed on lateral learning. To ensure a rich classroom environment, we look for participants with rich professional as well as personal achievements. Maturity, high energy-levels, well-rounded personalities, and a high degree of commitment to the program as traits we look for in candidates. Our efforts will be to constitute an exciting, dynamic and diverse student body. We look for candidates who have demonstrated clear managerial potential and career-oriented focus.

International Outlook and Interpersonal skills
We prefer applicants with cross-cultural sensitivity and an international outlook. We look for candidates with international experience or qualification. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to successfully complete the RBS program since a significant portion of the program learning is designed to be covered through formal and informal study groups.

Team Skills
We place particular emphasis on working in multicultural groups and need to be certain that candidates will share in the development of their fellow team members and contribute to the learning environment of the School.
