The Program Structure The course is designed to incorporate foundation subjects to gain a broader-level understanding of the business environment, which would then lead into the specialization subjects: retail, logistics, finance and human resources management. The program will comprise 4 Semesters, and a total of 50 credits accounting for 900 hours of intensive classroom learning. In addition, students will be expected to undergo a compulsory internship. The Teaching Method A case study based approach brings practical learning to theoretical concepts taught in the classroom. Factory visits; guest lecturers, CEO and senior management perspectives are some of the highlights of our innovative classroom approach. We encourage you to put what you learn into a practical perspective. There are plenty of opportunities for this, in classroom discussion, through case studies; project work and particularly through group work. Reading We have outlined a list of business and non-business books as mandatory reading as a part of the program. Book reviews, critiques are an integral part of the learning process. The objective is to develop critical reasoning and reflective thinking. We encourage students to challenge mind-sets and think outside the box. By the end of the year participants should have:
