Our mission
The Rustomjee Cambridge International School (RCIS) is incorporated
to provide a global competitive edge to our students through an
internationally recognized examination. The mission of RCIS is
to offer true education, to promote the development of students
who: are active learners, problem-solvers, risk-takers, and participants
in a healthy lifestyle; respect themselves, others, and their
environment; and are emotionally, socially, and physically prepared
to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world; in short to
prepare them to be global citizens.
Our
Board of Study
RCIS has received an approval from Cambridge International Examination
body in the UK, part of the prestigious University of Cambridge
to offer exciting student-centric learning programs at the primary
and secondary level. RCIS has recognition as a Cambridge International
Examination Center. The University has been offering assessments
in over 150 countries for about 150 years, with a wide choice
of subjects and combinations.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education
(IGCSE) is one of the most recognised qualifications around the
world. IGCSE courses are renowned for developing vital educational
skills, including recall of knowledge, oral skills, problem solving,
initiative, team work and investigative skills. The resulting
qualification provides a foundation for higher level courses,
such as A and AS Levels, the Advanced International Certificate
of Education, the North American Advanced Placement Programme
and the International Baccalaureate.

Our
World Program

Starting with an international program at Nursery and Jr KG level,
the students enroll into the Cambridge International Primary Program
(CIPP) at the Sr, KG level going up to Grade 5.
The Cambridge International Primary Programme gives schools a
framework to develop Mathematics, English and Science skills and
knowledge in young children. The Primary Programme provides guidance
for curriculum development and classroom teaching and learning,
and allows teachers to assess children's learning as they progress
The Primary Programme aids identification of a student's strengths
and weaknesses and can be used to support learning and development.
The Primary Programme progresses students seamlessly into middle
years curricula, such as Cambridge
Checkpoint and IGCSE.
The students then progress into the Check-Point program in grades
6,7, and 8 with a comprehensive assessment at Grade 8, to help
students select their streams at the IGCSE levels.
