The year 1999 saw the Secondary Section with 57 students.

The school grew steadily and today we boast of functioning with 23 divisions and a strength of 1038 students. The school follows SSC curriculum. There is a continuous evaluation of performance based on the 2 Unit Tests, the 1st and 2nd Semester Examinations. Apart from the usual subject like English, Hindi, Marathi, Science, Maths, History and Geography, we have introduced French this year in Standards VIII and IX. We also have subjects like Singing, V.E, G.K, P.T, Arts and Computer which are assessed and graded.

A keen importance is also given to co-curricular activities where by it enables a child to develop a versatile personality. Some of the events that are carried out during the year are:

• Radiation - Intra school Science Exhibition where every child prepares a project during Diwali Vacations.
• Rejoice -A film festival week for students to enjoy
• Roar - Our Annual Sports Meet
• Rhapsody -Our Annual Day Celebrations

... and many more small events each having its own element of fun. Inter school competitions, be it the Athletic meet or Science Exhibitions, Dance, Elocution or Mono acting competitions are thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

Apart from the regular school exams, the students partake in various competitive exams like Unified Council, Hindi Rashtrabhasha, Marathi Nimnastar, Mathex, State Level Scholarship exams etc. The students are given training for these exams.

In a nutshell, a continuous endeavour is seen to bring out the best in a Rustomite.
