1. I am a teacher, how is the
Diploma going to be of use to my professional profile?
The CIDTT program is useful and helpful for all individuals:

2. How long will it take to complete
the Diploma?
The Diploma should be done over a full teaching or training cycle
as it covers the four stages of any teaching or training programme.
This generally takes one full year.
3. What are the requirements
of the assignments? Are the assignments very tough?
The four assignments are based on the 4 modules and are practical
and work-related, fitting in comfortably with the teaching preparation
and practice. Assignments are prepared and submitted using electronic
templates provided by CIE. Each assignment demands reflective
report based on the self learning of the candidate.
4. Is it necessary to complete
the modules in the order specified?
The four modules are designed for step-by-step progression and
since the work of next module is dependent upon the previous,
it is always advisable for everybody to follow the correct sequence.
5. What are the grades for the
CIDTT?
Each assignment is graded as Distinction, Pass and Fail. These
results are issued on after each assignment is marked. The overall
Award is graded at Distinction or Pass.
6. How does a candidate achieve
the award of a certificate with Distinction?
To achieve the award of a certificate with Distinction, candidates
must achieve at least three Distinctions out of the four (4) modules
of the Diploma.
7. When will I get the results
from CIE?
CIE takes a normal period of two months for declaring the results
of the module, on completion of all the four modules you will
be awarded with the full Diploma.
8. I have done my B Ed., why

9. Do I have to inform my current
employer?
Candidates who are employed permanently in an institution need
to get a NOC from the Head of the Institution. Candidates involved
in corporate training and visiting lecturers need to get a letter
of approval from the school or the organisation, which they visit
regularly.

12. Will I be allowed to reappear
for the Diploma?
The Diploma has to be completed within three years of the first
registration, so a candidate can resubmit his/her assignment within
this time period subject to paying the module fees each time.
